Kaiserslautern signs coach Kurz to extension

08/13/2010 - Kaiserslautern, Germany (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Kaiserslautern signed coach Marco Kurz to a contract extension through the 2011-12 season on Friday.

Kurz led Kaiserslautern back to the Bundesliga last season, and with his deal set to expire after the 2010-11 season, was handed an extension.

"I'm very pleased to have this level of trust from the board. We're far from finished here. We want to continue the club's success in the Bundesliga and establish ourselves as a top flight team," Kurz said on the league's website.
